Marcel ironing has been around for over a century though it has undergone many significant improvements.
Years ago one would put iron tongs into a small oven, that would heat the casted metal. Once heated and allowed to cool off a bit, you proceed to twist the hair around the tongs to curl. It isn't hard to imagine that on the occassion the tongs hadn't cooled off enough, the result would be less than desireable.
Today our electric irons are ionic-ceramic, therefore much gentler, and unlikely to damage the hair and can be used almost daily.
As an outgoing young woman, Stephanie, jumped at the chance of wearing a new look at work later that night. Co-workers at Ocean club were buzzing about the unique polished texture. Traditional curling irons work well, however, a unique, sexy curl will likely turn more heads, and that's the point. Isn't it?
